Assoc. Prof. Vladimír Rogalewicz is a mathematician and statistician, a graduate of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, with long-standing expertise in health economics, health technology assessment (HTA), and health systems research. His professional work focuses primarily on cost-effectiveness modeling of healthcare interventions, the evaluation of health policy impacts, and the development of quantitative methodologies applied in public health and healthcare decision-making. His earlier career also included research in the mathematical foundations of quantum theory, genetic resources of cultivated plants, and chemical and biomedical engineering, providing him with a strong interdisciplinary background for solving complex analytical problems. Between 2007 and 2012, he served as Vice-Dean for Science and International Relations at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague, where he contributed to the development of international collaboration and scientific capacity, and he has served on numerous editorial and scientific boards. He is the author of more than 140 publications in prestigious scientific journals and international conference proceedings and has made significant contributions to the methodological development of HTA and health economic evaluation.
