Ing. Jakub Ráfl, Ph.D.
Jakub is an senior assistant at FBMI. In the CzechHTA team, he is dedicated to the analysis of large patient data, mainly in the areas of adherence to treatment and smoking cessation. He also deals with the acquisition and evaluation of data from instrumentation in intensive care medicine and respiratory support and the role of device wearers in health care. He completed the Master’s program in Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. His doctoral studies, focused on artificial pulmonary ventilation, were completed in 2015 at FBMI CTU. He teaches applied statistics, special instrumentation for intensive care and research methodology.
