RNDr. Jana Preclíková, Ph.D. is a researcher focused on health data analysis and health care management. Her personal civic engagement and effort to contribute to improving care based on data, facts and system analysis brought her to the field of health data science. She studied physics and received a doctorate in quantum optics at Charles University (2010). After working at foreign research institutes and in the hi-tech optoelectronic industry, she is returning to the academic environment in the middle phase of her career with a second doctoral study at FBMI ČVUT in the field of HTA. Her dissertation „Methods and models for the analysis of adherence“ focuses objectively on the management of cardiovascular diseases in children and adolescents with using national administrative health data.
