Mgr. Martina Dingová Šliková, Ph.D.
Mgr. Martina Dingová Šliková, Ph.D. works as an assistant professor at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague (FBMI CTU) and as a researcher at the Faculty of Humanities of Charles University. Her work focuses on biomedical ethics with a specialization in ethical and systemic decision-making in healthcare, resource allocation and handling of patient data and health information in clinical and research practice. With a qualification in ethics consulting, she is dedicated to ethical assessment, consulting activities and decision-making processes in the field of healthcare provision, including continuity and coordination of care. She has been involved in teaching for a long time and guarantees practical training of non-medical healthcare workers, building on her extensive clinical experience. Since 2011, she has been the chairwoman of the Ethics Committee of the FBMI CTU for Research and since 2024 as the faculty ombudsman with a focus on institutional ethics. She participates in the CZDEMOS4AI project focused on ethical aspects of the use of artificial intelligence in society. She is the author and co-author of professional publications and monographs.
