Ondřej focuses on the area of ​​biomedical data processing and representation, where multidimensional data, such as electronic health records or speech, are converted into vector representations using machine learning methods called embeddings. He is currently working on the use of (large) language models for processing and analyzing medical data. He defended his doctoral thesis in 2020 in the field of Biomedical and Clinical Engineering. In his activities, he places a strong emphasis on the area of ​​data science and big data processing. He teaches courses related to the field of Biomedical Informatics at the FBMI of CTU.
