Ing. Ondřej Klempíř, Ph.D.

Ing. Ondřej Klempíř, Ph.D., works at the Faculty of Biomedical Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague (ČVUT), in the field of biomedical informatics and data science, focusing on the processing, representation, and analysis of complex biomedical data. His professional activities primarily address the transformation of multidimensional datasets—such as electronic health records, physiological signals, and speech—into vector representations using machine learning and embedding techniques. He is currently strongly engaged in the application of large language models and artificial intelligence methods for structuring and analyzing medical data and supporting both clinical and system-level decision-making. He defended his doctoral thesis in Biomedical and Clinical Engineering in 2020 and has participated in research projects focused on the application of machine learning methods in medicine, including the analysis of signal and speech data in neurological disorders. In addition to his research activities, he actively contributes to teaching in biomedical informatics and data science, delivering courses focused on large-scale data processing, computational modeling, and the implementation of modern analytical methods in healthcare data environments.
