Aleš is a senior researcher and the leader of the CzechHTA team. He has been involved in HTA and health economics since 2003. From 2001 to 2013, he also dealt with the development of molecular diagnostic diagnostic methods based on the principle of real-time PCR, especially algorithms for working with data. He has been working in the Czech HTA team intermittently since 2013. Prior to that, he worked for the international research organizations IMFORM (now Premier Research), Kendle (now Syneos Health) and CEEOR (Kantar Health from 2015 to 2018). In 2004, Aleš defended his doctoral degree in Life Science from the Technical University of Munich. He is the author of more than 40 international publications in impact journals with a citation rate exceeding 4,500 citations.
