International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering
6th-8th May, 2020. Granada (SPAIN)
It is our great pleasure to announce you the 8th International
Work-Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering (IWBBIO 2020),
which will take place in Granada (Spain) in May, 2020. Details and
instructions for the conference can be found at the conference web site.
The conference will be devoted to current researches in Bioinformatics,
Computational Biology, Biomedicine and Bioengineering, including the
following topics (but not limited to):
1. Translational Bioinformatics
2. Integrative Bioinformatics
3. Next generation sequencing and sequence analysis.
4. High performance in Bioinformatics.
5. Computational proteomics.
7. Biomedical Engineering
8. Computational systems for modeling biological processes.
9. Healthcare and diseases.
11. Personalized medicine
We encourage you to submit paper focused on interesting, relevant and
original works that are related to these subjects. We also admit the
submission of short abstracts (which can be extended to full paper in case
of being accepted). You could also be interested in organizing a special
session for this conference.
These are some important dates for the submission:
Submission of abstracts: December 4th, 2019
Submission of papers by authors: November 24th, 2019.
Notification of provisional acceptance: February 8th, 2020.
Submission of final papers: February 14th, 2020.
There are two different categories for submissions:
1.- FULL PAPER CONTRIBUTIONS
Full papers should contain 10-12 pages in its final version according to
the Lecture Notes in BIoinformatics (LNBI) format of Springer-Verlag
format. All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference
proceedings, under both ISBN and ISSN references. The proceedings of
abstract will be submitted to Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings
Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and Scopus for
2.- ABSTRACT CONTRIBUTIONS
Abstract submissions are also accepted. Abstracts must be submitted
directly in the EasyChair platform. Once they have been accepted, a
selection of abstracts can be extended to full papers before final papers
submission deadline. All accepted abstracts will be published in the
conference proceedings, under both ISBN and ISSN references. The
proceedings of abstract will be submitted to Thomson Reuters Conference
Proceedings Citation Index (ISI), INSPEC, DBLP, EI (Elsevier Index) and
Scopus for indexation.
A list of papers with very high quality will be selected to be extended and
submitted in different special issues (more information in the web page of
1.- Statistical Methods in Medical Research.
2.- PLOS Computational Biology
3.- BMC Bioinformatics.

We are happy to welcome you to the European Health Economics Association, EuHEA 2020 conference, 7-10 July in Oslo, Norway. The theme will be ‘Health economics for sustainable welfare systems’.
The conference will be hosted at the University of Oslo by the Department of Health Management and Health Economics in cooperation with the Frisch Centre.
The purpose of the EUHEA is to promote cooperation among all national health economics associations and groups in Europe as well as to profile and foster health economics at European universities.
